League Ticket and Admissions Policy for Public Programs
The League presents a variety of in-person and online programs that are open to the public or to our members only. We also occasionally offer hybrid programs with both an in-person and a livestream or virtual component, subject to each program’s specific needs and technical limitations.
Ticketing to in-person programs is primarily carried out on Eventbrite. Each registration on Eventbrite confers one ticket, and each ticket admits one individual only. Program capacity is limited and only registered guests can attend. Entry is not permitted to guest attendees or plus-ones who do not have their own valid ticket.
The price of admission may vary by event, and some events are free to attend. The standard ticket price is publicly displayed on the program’s event page on archleague.org and on Eventbrite. Please note that ticket sales are final, and we do not provide refunds on tickets that are purchased but not used. We accept requests in advance of an event to transfer tickets on a case-by-case basis.
Current members of the League in good standing are eligible for one or more free tickets to each public program, and also receive exclusive access to members-only events. While we strive to maintain consistent rules for access and ticket availability, the number of tickets available with each membership varies based on membership tier, total venue capacity, and other factors.
The League is committed to public health and safety at all of our events, and to active communication with all attendees regarding changing conditions. The majority of the League’s public programs are hosted by external venues, and each program is subject to that host venue’s rules on total capacity, opening and closing times, and health and safety rules (e.g. requirements for the use of face masks to reduce the risk of spreading illness). These specific requirements will be posted on the Eventbrite ticketing page when the event is announced, and changes or revisions to policy will be communicated to registered attendees by email prior to the event.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances that necessitate changes to a program (e.g., changes of venue, of time, or of other entry requirements), or of that program’s postponement or cancellation, we will communicate the latest information to registered attendees by email as soon as possible. In the event of a cancellation of a public program, tickets will be refunded.
Virtual, online-only programs are typically hosted on Zoom or similar virtual meeting platforms. At this time, registration to most virtual programs is free and open to the general public without limit. Fees and limits associated with certain virtual events will be displayed on that event’s informational pages, if applicable.
Please note that this policy pertains only to the League’s programs for public and members-only audiences. Limited special events, including benefits and fundraisers, are subject to their own ticketing and admissions policies, pricing, and availability, and may vary.
Please email rsvp@archleague.org with questions about program registration, membership, or events.

Special event ticket policy
In addition to its public programs, The Architectural League presents a limited number of special events during the year, including annual benefit and fundraising events such as the President’s Medal Dinner and the Beaux Arts Ball. A portion of each ticket or sponsorship sold for these events is considered a charitable contribution to the League, while the fair market value of the benefits received is considered non-tax-deductible. Available ticket levels, prices, and non-deductible values are published when ticket sales commence. All proceeds from ticket purchases, sponsorships, and contributions support the League’s work throughout the year. Ticket purchases and contributions to special events are not refundable; however, tickets that will go unused may be donated back to the League or converted in full to charitable contributions. League memberships do not include free tickets to special events unless otherwise indicated.
In the event of unforeseeable circumstances preventing the League from carrying out an event as planned, we will attempt to hold the event on a later date. No refunds will be provided in such a circumstance, but all original ticket purchases will be honored to the fullest extent possible. Due to the complexity of arrangements and preparations, we cannot guarantee that an event will be rescheduled.
Safety is our utmost priority when planning and executing our special events. If we proceed with an event despite adverse circumstances, ticket takers must use their own best judgment to evaluate risk and will bear final responsibility in choosing whether or not to attend.
We accept pledges for payment on a future date. Once the event takes place, all pledges are considered firm commitments and cannot be modified.
