The League Prize is an annual competition that has been organized by The Architectural League since 1981. Open to designers ten years or less out of school, it draws entrants from around North America.

Alison Von Glinow and Lap Chi Kwong of Kwong Von Glinow received a 2018 award.

Kwong Von Glinow is a Chicago-based architecture practice founded in 2017 by Alison Von Glinow and Lap Chi Kwong. Through the reinterpretation of familiar architectural elements, the firm develops creative design solutions focused on public spaces and multifamily housing. 

Recent projects include:

Alison Von Glinow received a BA in architecture from Columbia University’s Barnard College and an MArch from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.

Lap Chi Kwong received a BA in architecture from the University of Washington and an MArch from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.

Kwong Von Glinow recently won first prize in the New York Housing Challenge 2017 as well as the Hong Kong Pixel Home Challenge.
