Membership
Join a community dedicated to advancing the culture of architecture and urbanism, explore design in the life of New York City and beyond, and engage the critical issues that shape our built environment, our society, and our world
The League’s programs draw audiences from across disciplines, generations, and points of view. Members are architects, artists and designers, urban planners and policy-makers, students and educators, practitioners in related fields, and those in the wider public who seek to enrich their understanding of the built environment. Membership is open to all who are interested in architecture and urbanism.
Members receive a wide range of benefits, including free admission and advance reservations to League lectures, symposia, discussions, and other events; access to members-only programs such as First Friday office visits; and invitations to exhibition previews and receptions.

Urban Omnibus Builder
$125
Urban Omnibus Builder members demonstrate their commitment to the League’s online publication, Urban Omnibus, and receive a special print edition Urban Omnibus New York City Map.
In addition, Urban Omnibus Builder members receive all the benefits of League Individual membership, including:

Firms, companies, and institutions that join at the Contributing level also receive program reminders, posters, and streamlined reservations for groups.
Sustaining Membership
$1,000
- Free or reduced admission to League programs, up to 10 tickets per event (in-person ticket limits may vary by program and venue)
- Access to AIA and New York State Continuing Education Units at eligible League programs, for all registered attendees
- Advance reservations for public programs
- Weekly e-newsletter and other announcements of upcoming programs
- Acknowledgment in the League’s annual report

Reduced-Rate Membership
$5 – $50
Reduced-rate memberships are available on a self-selection basis to individuals with fixed, precarious, or intermittent income, including students and recent graduates, individuals 65 years and above, and others. Members receive benefits of Individual membership including:

- Access to AIA and New York State Continuing Education Units at eligible League programs
- Advance reservations for public programs
- Weekly e-newsletter and other announcements of upcoming programs
League Circle & Council
League Circle

- Free or reduced admission to League programs, up to 15 tickets per event (in-person ticket limits may vary by program and venue)
- Access to AIA and New York State Continuing Education Units at eligible League programs, for all registered attendees
- Advance reservations for public programs
- Weekly e-newsletter and other announcements of upcoming programs
