Other Endowed Funds
Establish a fund
As opposed to annual gifts, which cover yearly operating expenses, endowed funds provide long-term income for The Architectural League. Endowed funds can be established for a specified purpose, or as unrestricted funds to meet the greatest needs of the League. If you are interested in establishing an endowed fund, please contact the League’s Development and Operations Manager, Daniel Cioffi, at cioffi@archleague.org.
J. Clawson Mills Fund
The Architectural League and the Metropolitan Museum of Art share income from the J. Clawson Mills Charitable Trust. Income supports the League’s J. Clawson Mills Fellowship and honoraria for participants in League programs.
This fund was created in honor of long-time League trustee Ulrich Franzen through generous contributions from the Riggio Foundation, Juliana Terian Gilbert, and Elise Jaffe + Jeffrey Brown and provides support for The Franzen Lecture on Architecture and the Environment.
This endowed fund was established through the generosity of longtime League trustee and former president Wendy Evans Joseph and provides support for lectures by artists whose work is inspired by the built environment.
