Karina Caballero and Camila Ulloa Vásquez of Otros Entregables
Established in 1981, the Architectural League Prize for Young Architects + Designers is a biennial juried portfolio competition for early-career practitioners in North America, organized around a theme.
Karina Caballero and Camila Ulloa Vásquez of Otros Entregables won a 2025 award.
Karina Caballero and Camila Ulloa Vásquez founded Mexico City-based platform Otros Entregables (Other Deliverables) in 2023. Through their podcast, live events, and curatorial initiatives, Otros Entregables aims to challenge the boundaries of traditional architectural deliverables and expand architectural discourse to include a variety of artistic-spatial practices. The platform’s work is generated from exchanges with collaborators including academic institutions and students, designers and design organizations, and “like-minded unconventional makers,” in their own words.
Recent projects include:
- Otros Entregables Podcast: Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3 Now in its third season, Caballero and Ulloa Vásquez begin each episode of the podcast series with the question: “Do you consider yourself an architect?” The platform issues an open call to collaboratively curate topics for an upcoming season, with content divided into three categories: Conversations, Monologues, and Urgent Matters.
- Consecuencias, with Adriana Rodríguez, This event series considers the ecological consequences of contemporary construction practices through a series of dialogues held in topically relevant sites.
