League Prize 2021: Night 3

In this video, they discuss projects including:

• Capitol Hill Rowhouse, a residential renovation in Washington, DC
• 7DrumCity Music Rehearsal and Performance Building, the expansion and renovation of a music education, rehearsal, and performance space
• Story District Community Arts Space, the renovation of a nonprofit arts organization that hosts classes, workshops, and events celebrating storytelling. The project created a flexible, multifunctional workspace and improved its acoustics

• Litibú, a 538-square-foot bungalow in Nayarit, a state on Mexico’s Pacific coast, made of two volumes connected by a central patio with a roof made of dried palm leaves.
• Ocuilán, a 484-square-foot house for a family displaced by the 2017 earthquake in Mexico.
• Aros, a temporary installation transforming a fountain into a playground for children in a disadvantaged neighborhood in Mexico City. The project was the winner of the 2018 Concurso Juguetes Urbanos.

The presentations are introduced by 2021 Young Architects + Designers Committee member Alison Von Glinow, co-founder of Kwong Von Glinow. A moderated discussion and Q&A with committee member Ivi Diamantopoulou, co-founder of New Affiliates, and League Program Director Anne Rieselbach follows the presentations.
