FF – Distance Edition: LMN Architects

In this video, Scott Crawford, Osama Quotah, Hanna Kato, Leonardo da Costa, and Vanessa Abin-Fuentes, of LMN Architects give a look into the firm’s design approach and work style by discussing four projects: 

• Grand Avenue Park Bridge, a pedestrian bridge in Everett, Washington, that connects utilities and residents with the city’s developing waterfront district.
• Mukilteo Multimodal Ferry Terminal, a critical piece of transit infrastructure in Mukilteo, Washington, that was designed in close collaboration with several Coast Salish Tribes
• Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion, a new pavilion that provides an armature for immersive exhibits, hands-on exploration, and views of the surrounding landscape and urban waterfront
• Seattle Convention Center Summit Building, a new convention center revitalizing and re-connecting Seattle’s urban core.

The presentation is followed by a conversation with Seattle-based design journalist Lauren Gallow. The discussion focused on LMN Architect’s engagement with the city through its new storefront space, the firm’s experience working with artists, and the culture of its office.
