Become a Volunteer

The Architectural League welcomes individuals to volunteer with us! Volunteers help out with lectures, exhibition installations, and special events. Volunteering at the League is a great way to enjoy lectures free of charge, attend members-only events, and, most importantly, get involved in the city’s architecture scene.

Once you’ve completed 4 volunteer shifts with the League, you earn a free year-long League membership. However, if you sign up for a volunteer shift but miss your shift or cancel the day of, then that counts against one of your attended shifts. A note about the 4 shift system: shifts only accrue during each programmatic year, September through June, and do not roll over.
