The Architectural League’s annual Emerging Voices program spotlights North American architects, landscape architects, and urban designers who have significant bodies of realized work and the potential to influence their field.
AEDS won a 2007 award.
Ammar Eloueini is the founder and principal of Ammar Eloueini Digit-All Studio (AEDS), based in New Orleans and Paris. A leader in digital design, AEDS produces space that “engages human perception” and “tests the limits of form.”
Recent projects include the exhibition design for ONS 2006 in Stavanger, Norway; the “me” Issey Miyake Flagship Store in Paris; the Pleats Please Issey Miyake stores in Perpignan, France, and Berlin; and CoReFab#71, “a chair design created from computer digital animation and realized through 3D print technology.”
An associate professor at Tulane University, Eloueni has recently received awards from the AIA and a VIA grant to manufacture three CoReFab#71s.
