Biographies
John Acosta
is a first-generation Mexican-American filmmaker who has worked as a filmmaker and instructor for several nonprofits in the Albuquerque area. In 2018, Acosta teamed with photographer Frank Blazquez to launch “Duke City Diaries,” a documentary film series about Albuquerque which has garnered close to 2 million views on YouTube, as well as mentions in publications like The Guardian, The Albuquerque Journal, and Santa Fe Reporter. He continues to work on ongoing projects in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
