He is the author of Digial Culture (Reaktion, 2002), Art, Time and Technology (Berg, 2006), and co-editor of the forthcoming White Heat, Cold Logic (MIT, 2008).</p>

Kazys Varnelis is Director of the Network Architecture Lab at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. He is co-director AUDC, a non-profit architecture collective, and occasionally works with the Center for Land Use Interpretation.</p>

He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California.</p>
