2007 Norden Fund grant recipient, Yutaka Sho, has started a blog on her design collective, General Architecture Collaborative. You can specifically follow one of her Rwanda projects (and become a fan) on Facebook. She received her Norden travel grant for her project, “Tillers of the Horizon: Projecting Public Spaces by Women in Post-conflict Rwanda.”

This unique publication celebrates the first decade of the League’s Deborah J. Norden Fund, which awards travel/study grants to recent graduates in architecture, architectural history, and urban studies.

The Deborah J. Norden Fund, established in 1995 in memory of architect and arts administrator Deborah Norden, awards a total of up to $5,000 annually in travel/study grants to students and recent graduates in the fields of architecture, architectural history, and urban studies. The Deborah J. Norden Fund is administered by the Architectural League of New York. The Deborah J. Norden Fund competition is announced each November.
