David W. Orr is the Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics in the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College. He is best known for his pioneering work on environmental literacy in higher education and his recent work in ecological design.

Norden Fund, the Design Trust for Public Space, the MacDowell Colony, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, and the Van Alen Institute will discuss opportunities for individual grants and fellowships for architects and designers.
