INTERNSHIPS AT THE LEAGUE – SUMMER 2017
The Architectural League of New York offers seasonal internships with a minimum 3- month time commitment to qualified undergraduates and recent graduates. We ask that interns work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week and are flexible with their schedule. Selection for the League’s internship program is made on the basis of the applicant’s enthusiasm about the League’s mission and programs, experience, and interest in architecture, design, and/or urbanism.
Internships will receive a stipend of $15 an hour and unlimited monthly MetroCards for the duration of the internship. The League will also support internships for academic credit.
Program Assistant Internship
The Architectural League seeks a motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed individual for the Program Assistant internship, to start in early-mid May. As an integral team member, the intern will not only provide necessary support for the daily operations of the League, but will also have the opportunity to assist in the preparation and installation of the League Prize exhibition, and attend meetings with leading members of the design community.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
The League is looking for volunteers to help out with lectures, exhibition installations, and special events, and to assist the digital media team with transcriptions and video captioning. Volunteering at the League is a great way to get involved in the city’s architecture scene. Most volunteering is unpaid; however, we are occasionally able to offer small stipends.
