One could argue that in New York, everyone’s an actor. So what happens when performance moves beyond the proscenium to our city streets? Urban Omnibus, The Architectural League’s digital publication, asked writers to reflect on the changing relationship between performance, audience, and public space for its fourth annual writing competition, “As Seen On [  ].”Join us for a reading of the winning essays (now published on Urban Omnibus and listed below) and a reception to launch the printed collection of these winners at Greenlight Bookstore in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Essays will be read by some of New York’s finest young actors, including members of the devised theater company The Associates.

The book collecting the following winners is currently on sale at Greenlight and available online with a donation to Urban Omnibus.
