On September 28, 2013, the Architectural League held its annual Beaux Arts Ball at the 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Avenue. The theme, “–ism,” evoked the polyvalent spirit of the 1913 Armory Show, which introduced new art and ideas to America in the same space 100 years ago. Brooklyn based research, design, and fabrication firm, SITU STUDIO, was commissioned to design the environment for the party, and Processional Arts Workshop provided a site-specific performance using costumes and puppetry designed and built during nine days of volunteer workshops. More information about the event and its participating artists is available here. Below are photos from the party as well as from the Benefactors Dinner on the same evening.

A Benefactors Dinner for more than 200 supporters of the League was held across the street from the Armory at NeueHouse, a recently opened creative co-working space designed by Rockwell Group.
