Folly 2013 Opening

Folly 2013 Opening

The Architectural League and Socrates Sculpture Park invite you to the picnic opening of tree wood, the 2013 winner of Folly designed by Toshihiro Oki architect with team members Toshihiro Oki, Jen Wood, and Jared Diganci.

Folly is a competition co-sponsored by the Architectural League and Socrates Sculpture Park that invites emerging architects and designers to propose contemporary interpretations of the architectural folly, traditionally a fanciful, small-scale building or pavilion sited in a garden or landscape to frame a view or serve as a conversation piece. The winning architects received a grant and two-month residency at Socrates in addition to the opportunity to build a full-scale project in the park.
