Join Leslie E. Robertson Associates at its office for drinks, informal conversation, and a behind the scenes look at recent and upcoming projects. This program is part of First Friday, a monthly opportunity for League members to visit the offices of leading design practices to see work on the boards and learn more about the offices’ organization and design processes. These informal social gatherings feature happy hour drinks arranged by the host office.
Leslie E. Robertson Associates (LERA) provides structural engineering services to architects, owners, contractors, and developers. The office is known for its innovative design and the development of new structural systems and concepts.
With offices in New York, Mumbai, and Shanghai, LERA has developed an international portfolio ranging from the world’s largest towers to art installations. Recent projects include The Gateway Center, Westchester Community College (Ennead Architects); Bitexco Financial Center (Carlos Zapata Studio); The Shanghai World Financial Center (Kohn Pederson Fox Architects); and, Public Farm One, MoMA/P.S. (WORKac).
Work is currently underway for 4 World Trade Center (Maki & Associates); Columbia University Medical Education Building (Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Lead Designer and Gensler, Executive Architect); Ben Thanh Towers (Arquitectonica); and Hudson Park and Boulevard (Michael Van Valkenburgh and Toshiko Mori).
